People love dolphins because they look like the ocean made a smile by accident. Sleek body, curved mouthline, social behavior, stories about rescue, all that soft focus nonsense. Fine. But underneath the branding is a fast, muscular, highly coordinated marine predator running one of the nastiest acoustic guidance systems in the mammal world. A dolphin is not just "smart." It is a breathing sonar weapon with a social brain attached, and that combination is exactly why it feels so charismatically dangerous. Start in the right medium. Not land, where every movement is drag and gravity and impact. Water. Conductive, dense, visibility variable, full of sound.
